On the late news, they were interviewing people who'd known him. His high school coach was wearing a faded Cubs cap. I saw that and thought of you. ;-)

I didn't see the game, but the news was showing clips of his pitches, and I saw an example of that wicked slider. They said he'd been a dominant player all the way through his Little League and high school career.
