I'm sorry, I had to say this...

Three items that "Attack of the Show" highlighted in tonight's "WTF?" segment of Comic-Con 'coverage':
1) Star Trek cologne, with brands like "Oh, My", "KHANNNN", "Red Shirt" ("because tomorrow may never come"), and "Shirtless Captain Kirk". There's an entire booth selling this stuff.
2) The Talking Tina doll from that Twilight Zone episode
3) A Tauntaun sleeping bag
I also noticed a flash drive very much resembling a human finger.
Amusing ideas all, but WTF do they have to do with comics?
*facepalm*

The really disheartening part is that, having gone to the Con since about '93, I've watched this gradual and seemingly oblivious deterioration happen. what used to be a great time in the summer to geek out is now a major f**king chore to just endure.
The last year I went was '08. I'm sooooooooo glad I passed on it last year--from what I heard, the Twilight fans overran the place. Ugh.
